Naval Hatches
The FHS Naval Hatches can be divided into gas- and water-tight models and models that are both gas- and water-tight.
They are in accordance with VG 85169: 1994-12 and VG 85170: 1994-12, as well as VG85170 August 2003. Version gas and water proof Grade 1 and 2.
They are mainly used on military ships with high demands on shock and vibration safety.
FHS Naval Hatches made of the base material S355 J2G3, GL-D36 or Niro (1.4571), are designed either as hatches with coaming or smooth deck hatches, which in turn come with screw or welding frames upon delivery.
A central lock is available in all hatches offered in the form of a lever in the hatch and the hatches can be made to insulate against heat, sound or fire (A60). The necessary operating forces of the lever correspond to the requirements of the VG85170.
FHS offers its Naval Hatches in the following versions:
- Hatches ready for limit switch scans
- Hatches with receptacle for mass to ship structure
- Hatches with lock for hanging lock
- Hatches with gas spring aided opening
- Hatches with automatic sheet fuse (holder of the opened hatch sheet)
